Aromatherapy for Athlete's Foot

If you want to use aromatherapy for athlete's foot, tea tree oil is a good essential oil to fight fungus. Here are two other suggestions.

For a foot powder, Aromatherapy for Dummies recommends placing 1/4 cup cornstarch in a plastic bag, then add

25 drops tea tree or eucalyptus
8 drops clove oil
8 drops peppermint oil

Close the bag and mix well with your fingers (through the outside of the bag). Apply as needed to your feet.

The Essential Oils Desk Reference recommends this essential oil blend for athlete's foot:

8 drops tea tree
4 drops peppermint
2 drops mountain savory

Blend essential oils with a carrier oil and apply to feet.

Be sure to keep your feet as cool and dry as possible to create an inhospitable environment for fungus.

Also consider an overall yeast/fungus eradication program--consult a naturopath or other holistic healthcare practitioner.
